About the Campaign

Ugly tumor on a

handsome dog!

Ace had a little bump grow into a golf-ball sized tumor very quickly, and it needs to be removed and tested.

He was adopted by Eddie when a friend of the family had a litter and didn’t know what to do with the puppies, Eddie helped out by taking one. Now Ace is about 3 years old, and up until now there have been no health issues.

Puppy Ace

Last month this little bump showed up on his belly. It started getting bigger, and at first Eddie though it my be from a cut, or a bug bite, he put some medication on it, including Neosporin, but it just grew, especially in the last week:

Ace got a verbal estimate from the vet of about $1000 to remove the tumor and test it, which was from the Sam Simon foundation. Eddie applied because he doesn’t have the money for surgery, but the foundation told him that though he was approved, they didn’t have the funding now, so he would need to pay.

We are also looking at an alternative vet for Ace, but the $1000 estimate from Sam Simon sounds accurate to us including the necessary biopsy. All donations through FAD are held by us as a non-profit and ONLY paid to the veterinarian when Ace is treated, never the owner. Your donation is for Ace! So lets help this young, and handsome boy get this tumor off and tested right away!
