About the Campaign

Four dogs, 3 in bad condition, were dumped in a crate.

Left over night on a lawn, the sprinklers soaked them!

When found in the morning, they were shivering, soaked and scared…

In Orange County, California, an act of animal cruelty and neglect has residents in this quiet community outraged. Just two nights ago, a homeowner discovered a crate of four small dogs abandoned on her front lawn. The sprinklers had gone off during the night – the neglected and abused dogs had no escape. By the time they were found in the morning they were all soaked, shivering and frightened. The surveillance camera missed what happened.

The dogs were rushed to an emergency veterinarian hospital where their horrifying injuries are now being treated. The Yorkshire terrier had been hit in the face resulting in bruising along with a gash on his head. The Chihuahua, diagnosed as the most seriously injured, has an injured eye which will need to be removed. His body temperature remains dangerously low and shows signs of infection raging throughout his body. The third dog appears to be pregnant. The fourth dog has been taken by a neighbor and is in good hands; the dog was taken to an emergency veterinarian, has been administered her vaccinations and is scheduled to be spayed next week.

Faith Easdale of Dream Fetchers Rescue has taken the three that need medical help in, and they are currently at her vet. Faith needs everyone’s help paying for these unexpected expenses.

The Yorkie with the broken jaw has been named “Because”, the Chihuahua with the bad eye is “Reason” and the pregnant girl is “Matter”.

Dream Fetchers rescue and Faith Easdale know that these dogs will be put to sleep in the shelter, because of their medical issues that the local shelter cannot afford to deal with, and the shelter is currently full… so even if they went to the shelter, it means another dog would have to be put to sleep to make room.

All donations are only paid for the medical bill for these dogs! Please consider helping the great work of Faith Easdale and Dream Fetchers rescue by making a donation today! And as always, please SHARE!

This, like so many cruelty stories, breaks my heart. These monsters, apparently, purposely places these dogs my the sprinklers knowing they would be soaked once they went off! I love dogs especially these breeds and I have shared on my Facebook page. Sorry I could do no more but I have 19 rescues and need financial help as well! God bless you and them!

I just can’t stand people who are cruel to animals. I pray for those dogs and other abused animals elsewhere. Also I pray for any kind of abuser’s mending their way. I am a single parent so my family can’t afford much, but I know all pets are precious to their family. So I would be happy if I could even be just a little bit of a help to them.
